Country music’s soulful and talented voice, Brett Eldredge, will release his second album “Illinois,” in stores on September 11, 2015.
The new album “Illinois’’ will be the follow up to his incredibly successful debut album “Bring You Back,” which was released in 2013 selling over 21,000 copies with three number one hits :“Beat of the Music,” “Don’t Ya,” and “Mean To Me.” Eldredge drew inspiration from the artists like Ray Charles , Ronnie Dunn, and Frank Sinatra . He was Countrys Music Association 2014 New Artist of the Year.
Eldredge recently released the single “ Lose My Mind” from the new album earlier this May hitting number one on the country’s top ten radio. It stayed on the Billboard Hot Country for 17 weeks moving from numbers twelve to number nine, proving that it will become his chart- topper. The song has a polished sound that is more often found in pop released albums, but stays country with the help of Eldredge’s twang and punchy foot rhythm.
Taylor Swift was an inspiration for this album’s content, although, it is not because Eldredge is pining after the superstar. He toured with her in 2013 on Swifts Red Tour and was deeply inspired by the forthrightness in her songs. No other details were revealed about the album by Eldredge , but he had a big smile on his face when he was interviewed on air about the album. He revealed plans to release another album later this year .
I’m waiting for the album to come out because so far from the sample songs I have heard this is going to be a really great album ,” sophomore , Citalli Rojo said.
